You can now find Ulti-Mutt at The Lazy Daisy
If you live in Hampton Roads, you no longer have to wait on a shipping box to try out Ulti-Mutt gear. Our most popular Biothane products are now on the shelves at two Lazy Daisy Gift Store locations.
You can find us at The Lazy Daisy in Virginia Beach and at The Lazy Daisy in Yorktown. Both stores are set up so you can pick things up, feel the material, and take your new dog gear home the same day.
Where to find us
- Virginia Beach: 4001 Virginia Beach Blvd, Virginia Beach, VA. You can check the store's Facebook page for current news and events.
- Yorktown: 5007 Victory Blvd, Yorktown, VA 23693. The store sits right off I-64 at Exit 238, and you can call them at (757) 234-4071. Their Facebook page is the best place to see what is happening there.
- Store hours: Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 11am-5pm
Store hours can change, so please check with each location before you make the trip. You can also see all Lazy Daisy locations on the Lazy Daisy website.
Why shop in person?
Biothane is easy to love once you have it in your hands. It is a coated webbing that is tough, flexible, and simple to wipe clean after muddy walks or beach days. Seeing the colors and the thickness in person makes it much easier to choose the right leash, collar, or lead for your dog.
What we carry in store
We stock our most popular Biothane items at both locations. These are the products our customers reorder again and again. We have our 1 inch collars in most sizes and colors. (Need something specific? You can call the store before you make the trek to be sure it’s in stock. If it isn’t we can usually have it to the store in 48 hours.)
We also carry chews and treats from Tuesday’s Natural Dog Company in the stores that you will not find on our website. If your dog is picky, this is a good chance to grab a few options and see what gets the tail wagging.
Custom orders and engraving
You can place custom orders right through the store. This includes engraving, so you can add your dog's name or your phone number to a piece of gear.
If you want something made for a special dog, a gift, or a new puppy, tell the store team what you have in mind. They can help you start the order in person.
Make it a full outing
Both Lazy Daisy locations are dog friendly. Your dog is welcome to come along as long as they are vaccinated and on a leash. That means you can test a collar or leash on the spot and see how it looks and feels on your dog.
The Lazy Daisy is a large gift store filled with local makers. You will find custom gifts, home decor, handmade items, dog accessories, and baked goods under one roof. It is easy to shop for your dog and pick up a gift for a friend on the same trip.
The Yorktown location is also close to Williamsburg and the area's historic sites. That makes it a handy stop if you are traveling with your dog or passing through on I-64.
