At Ulti-Mutt Toys, we don’t just design gear; we handcraft high-performance, long-lasting tools engineered to keep up with every muddy trail, lake day, and training session. We take immense pride in the meticulous craftsmanship, premium USA-manufactured BioThane®, and industrial-grade metal hardware that goes into every single item we cut, rivet, and polish in our workshop.

Because we refuse to cut corners on your dog’s safety, we stand firmly behind our products with an ironclad Lifetime Warranty. We design our gear to be the last set of leashes and collars you’ll ever need to buy.

What Our Warranty Covers

Our lifetime warranty covers the structural integrity and functional performance of your gear for its natural lifetime. This includes:

  • Manufacturing Defects: Any issues with stitching, riveting, or initial assembly handcrafted in our workshop.

  • Hardware Failures: Breakage or structural failure of metal components under tension—including clips, snap hooks, buckles, and D-rings.

  • Wear and Tear: It is common for things like sliding tabs on slip leashes and handsfree leashes due to the nature of it repeatedly sliding up and down. We are happy to replace your tab at any point and time.

If a hardware component fails or a manufacturing defect reveals itself, we will repair or replace the item at absolutely no cost to you.

What is Not Covered

While our BioThane® gear is engineered for extreme adventures, it is not entirely indestructible. Our warranty does not cover:

  • Chewing or Animal Damage: BioThane® is highly durable, scratch-resistant, and won't crack or stretch—but it cannot withstand repeated biting.  We will replace the first chewed leash under warranty and offer a discount on future leashes. 

  • Alterations: Any modifications, self-repairs, or alterations made to the gear after it leaves our workshop.

  • Incorrect Product Usage: Damage resulting from utilizing gear outside its designed scope.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

We make the process simple and stress-free so you can get back out on the road.

  1. Take a Photo: Snap a clear picture of the damaged hardware or area in question.

  2. Contact Our Team: Send an email to our customer support team with your original order information and a brief description of what happened.

  3. Send It Back: We will provide instructions on how to send your gear back to our workshop for a professional repair or replacement.
